Morning walk - Day 5 of 90

I went out for a short 3.5 mile walk this morning and planned on getting the remainder of my 10,000 steps 'naturally' during the course of my day. Today, that worked, and I have still managed to stay out of the rain. Tomorrow I think I might run a mile in a 2 or 3 mile route; I'll let you know how that goes.

The only thing today that I saw that made me pause was something...well I don't know what it was. It could have been the world's biggest slug, or a 4" snail without a shell or something as yet unidentified. I saw two other things later on in my walk about the same size and color that turned out to be grass seed heads-so maybe that was what I saw. I had initially planned to go back on the return trip and look more closely, but after seeing the seed heads, and actually being a bit ambivalent about finding out definitively if it was indeed the world's largest slug...I skipped it. So, now we will never know. I can live with that.

Tomorrow is another day. 85 to go.
